Pinkfresh Studio “Sunlit Manor” Release Blog Hop

I am so excited to be a guest designer for the May Pinkfresh Studio ” Sunlit Manor” Release! There are so many beautiful products in this collection.

My card uses the following PinkFresh Studio products:
– Bloom & Buds Suite
– Trellis Coverplate Die
– Nested Elongated Ovals Dies
– Champagne Clear Drops

To start my card, I foiled my main floral image using the Bloom & Buds Press Plate with gold foil. I then stenciled the image in shades of orange and teal using the coordinating Bloom & Buds Stencil Set before die-cutting it with the Bloom & Buds Dies. Once completed, I set the floral image aside and began working on the background.

Using the Trellis Coverplate Die, I cut a trellis shape from white glitter cardstock and trimmed it to 4″ x 5.25″. Next, I cut a white cardstock panel to the same size and used the second-largest die from the Nested Elongated Ovals set to cut an oval from the center. I adhered the trellis piece to the back of the oval panel before attaching both layers to an A2-sized panel of light aqua cardstock.

Next, I mounted the floral image to the left side of the oval using thin foam tape for added dimension. I selected the “Hugs & Happy Thoughts” sentiment from the Bloom & Buds Stamp Set and heat embossed it in white onto dark teal cardstock before cutting it out with the coordinating die. I added additional sentiment layers beneath the embossed sentiment for extra dimension before finishing the card with Champagne Clear Drops, as shown. All that was left was adhering the completed panel to an A2-sized folding card base, and my pretty project was finished!
