I am so excited to share a very fun Father’s Day card featuring the new Hot Rod Flames die set from the Classic Car Legends 2.0 Collection created by Spellbinders and Mindy Eggen.
I was absolutely in love with this set from the moment I first saw it. I knew I wanted to go Poppy Red with bright orange flames for the car. I die cut all my pieces using Poppy, Raven, and paper from the Silver Assortment cardstock. I added a little ink blending to the door, hood, and rims with Distress Oxide Lumberjack Plaid, and I pieced it together per the layering guide.
I wanted to keep things simple, so I used a fun sheet of pattern paper from my stash, the Going Places Paper Pack from La-La Land Crafts. I cut the paper to 5.5” x 3.25” and adhered it to a folding white A2 card base. All that was left was to add a few cute sentiments from the Cruisin By Sentiments Set and my Father’s Day card was complete.
