Pinkfresh Studio “Flourish & Glow” Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be a guest in the new Pinkfresh Studio “Flourish & Glow” Release Blog Hop.  This release includes so many beautiful new products, including the new Freesia Flourish suite of products I am featuring.

The Freesia Flourish collection includes a gorgeous new press plate I could not wait to use.  I decided to pull out my Glimmer machine to foil my image for that extra touch of sparkle.   After foiling in matte gold onto a Hammermill cardstock panel, I broke out my dye inks and the accompanying Freesia Flourish Stencils and got to work. I decided I wanted to go with a bright orange instead of the typical purples you see with the freesia.  Once I was done stenciling, I cut out the image with the Freesia Flourish Dies and I started on my background.

I decided to go with a bright contrasting green for my background and to add a little texture I used my Dotted Chevron Coverplate Die.  Next, I cut a frame from Essentials Glitter Cardstock in Glacier using my Essentials Ornate Rectangle Frame Die.  I cut a second frame using plain white cardstock and I applied a light ink-blend of green to the inner negative piece to be used inside of my glitter cardstock frame.

Once I had all of my background elements complete, I cut my green panel to 4” x 5.25” and assembled everything as show above onto a folding, white, A2 card-base.  I used foam tape to pop up my freesia image and I foiled a sentiment from the Freesia Flourish Plate set, die cut it with the Freesia Flourish Dies, and also mounted it to the card panel with foam tape.   Just a few Clear with Gold Dust  Gems added at the end and my pretty card is complete.

Thank you so much for following along.  Now is your chance to see even more beautiful inspiration and have a chance to win.

  2. Your card is so fun–love the colors you picked. What another fun release! Thanks for sharing!

  3. This release is amazing. I make Thank You cards for Bloom Again Foundation and donate them all. I’m always using flowers so this is perfect. Thank you.

  4. Such a pretty card. The darker green chevron cover plate grounds the card in a nice way. The ornate rectangle in a lighter green really helps the vibrant orange flower standout with sentiment. Beautiful!

  6. Gorgeous card! I love the gradient colors in the background and the fresh greens you used. Then the oranges on the Freesia really make them pop. Wonderful job!

  7. Love the way you blended the background greens. Your card is so fresh, and the orange makes the Freesia really pop

  8. Loved your orange freesia. You gave that card some special touches and it shows. You showcased that set. Great job.
