Hello everyone! I am so excited to be participating in the Alex Syberia Designs December Release Blog Hop. This release is filled with so beautiful new products including the Minimalist Flowers BetterPress Plate and Minimalist Flowers Stencils I am showcasing today.
I cut a panel of 110lb white cardstock and I placed my plate down on the platform overlaying my die-cut scrap pattern and ran the plate through in black ink. I then moved my plate over the next die cut scrap and ran it through again, repeating this process for a total of 5 times.
To make this card I decided I wanted to make a fun background using the Minimalist Flowers Press Plate on repeat. Since it can be tricky do design a layout with a press plate as you are pressing the paper upside down, I actually used the Minimalist Flowers Die to cut out several flower shapes to place onto my BetterPress platform to help me with my design. .
Once my layout was complete I grabbed the minimalist flowers stencil and stenciled all my flowers in shades of pink and red with yellow centers. I then used a simple rectangle die to cut out a center panel I matted in black and re-added to the remaining frame which I glued onto a folding white A2 card base. To finish everything off, I die-cut a heart in black glitter card stock using the Quirky Hearts Die before adding a Love Die .
