Alex Syberia Designs August Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs Have a Good Day Release Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be a guest designer for this release and these new products are so wonderful. Today I’m sharing a card featuring three of the new products.

I decided to feature the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set for my card by building a design around the Have a Good Day sentiment. I also thought it would be fun to future one of the adorable pigs from the new Hog Happy Day Stamp Set with a few blooms from the Andalusia Wildflowers Die Set.

To start, I stamped the Fairy Pig image from the Hog Happy Day Stamp Set along with the wand onto Copic X-Press It paper in black ink before coloring the images with Copic markers. Once complete I die cut the images with the corresponding Hog Happy day Die Set and moved onto my blooms.

I selected a few flower designs from the Andalusia Wildflowers Die Set and die cut them in yellows and oranges to compliment my pig along with some leaves using two shades of green.

Once my flowers was die cut, I die cut a white and light blue inner panel using both Quilted Rectangle Frames in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. Finally, I cut the sentiment out of a light blue glitter paper along with two more cuts out of white scrap cardstock to layer for dimension.

Everything is always better with a little glitter!

Once everything was cut and colored it was time for assembly.

I started by gluing my two panels together before adding on the sentiment. Then I carefully arranged my blooms along the bottom left of the sentiment with my piggie at the top right. All items were adhered with thick and thin foam tape for added dimension and my card was complete.
