Today I am sharing another new card featuring the July Kit of the Month from La La Land Crafts. The kit has so many great products including Tropical Paradise Marci and her adorable cats that I have been able to create a variety of cute cards.
Today, I am featuring a card using just the Girl Cat rubber stamp in a simple design along with the Tropical Sunset Circle die and the Plumeria die from also from the kit. I started off my card by stamping and coloring my cat image using the Copic colors listed below. I also did a little paper piecing for her dress using paper from the Summer Vibes Paper Pack found at the link below. If you have never done paper piecing all you need to do is stamp the image onto the pattern paper of your choice, use neutral gray tones to add shadows, and then fussy cut out the portion of the image you need to then glue onto your main stamped image. In this case, I wanted her dress to coordinate with the pretty paper I used in the card background.

After coloring my image, I then used colored card stock in the colors of my selected pattern paper for cutting out and piecing together the Tropical Sunset circle. I just love this die and you can use it in so many ways, all together or just some of the parts. After piecing my scene together and using foam tape to adhere the cute cat, I realized my card needed a little something extra. I pulled out my brushed gold cardstock and created a Plumeria Flower for the top, with a little purple jewel glued in the center. I then stamped my sentiment directly onto the cards and I was good to go.
