I’m so excited to share today’s card featuring beautiful products from the Altenew August Release! I had so much fun putting this card together, and I love how the vibrant florals are so easy to assemble.

For today’s card, I reached for the EZ Arrangement Garden Mix Layering Die Set to create my floral arrangement. This die set uses Altenew’s key-hole system for easy layering of the dies to create a beautiful floral spray. Instead of using colored cardstock for the flowers, I die-cut all of the flower layers from white cardstock and used both the Red Sunset Fresh Dye Ink Collection and the Jade Dreams Fresh Dye Ink Collection to ink-blend my blooms. When it came to the leaves, I decided to do something a little unexpected. Rather than using greens, I die-cut them from various black specialty cardstocks from my stash. I love the contrast it creates! The black foliage really allows the flowers to take center stage while adding a modern, elegant feel to the overall design.
Once all of the die cuts were assembled, I next used one of the background stamps from the Craft Your Life: Chocolate Flowers Project Kit on a white A2-sized card panel in black ink before adding my floral spray and a “Hello” sentiment.
