Hello Crafty Friends! I am so excited to share several projects featuring the new Turn the Page Collection by Esther Glas and Spellbinders. My projects feature all of the following Spellbinders products below along with additional products from my stash.

For my first two projects, I wanted to feature tributes to a few of my pets and finally get around to using the Furry Friends collection of paper and ephemera from Stamperia which has long been neglected in my stash.
Using the Keepsake Capsule Page Etched Dies and elements from the Furry Friends Junk Journal, I created this fun journal page of my sweet miniature dachshund, Daisy. The cool thing about this die set, is you can create a flap within your die-cuts that you can open and close. Surprise, when you open the flap there is photo of my sweet pup. The die set also includes a closure die that can be used along with a brad to keep the flap closed.
For my second journal page, I wanted to showcase my beloved cat Arlo. For this page, I combined dies from both the Keepsake Capsule Page and Torn Edges with Tag Etched Dies to create a fun layout. All of the products in the collection work together to give endless journal page options.
For my last project, I played with the new Number Field 3D Embossing Folder. Using black cardstock, I ran it through my die machine with the embossing folder and got a lovely deep impression. I used layers of Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks to highlight the number impressions along with some white pigment ink from stash. I then finished everything off with some white splatter using watered down acrylic paint.
Once my background was complete, I die-cut several flowers from the Whimsical Blooms Collection by Vicky Papaioannou and Spellbinders to create a fun mixed media card.
