Hello everyone! I am so excited to join in the new Simon Says Stamp Happy Campers release. Today I am featuring a card using the adorable new Cute Campers clear stamp set
Background:
I decided to create a one-layer card with this stamp set arranging all of my images in a spotlight circle. To start, I first stamped my images onto Gina K Masking Magic Masking Paper, fussy-cut them out, and then arranged them on my card panel. Once I was satisfied with the arrangement, I then stamped each image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink by first stamping the elements in the foreground, applying my masks, and then stamping the images in the background.
Once everything was stamped and masked it was time for ink-blending my spotlight.
I used a basic circle die to create circle stencil from scrap cardstock. I then grabbed my Distress Oxide Inks to blend a night sky and my ground. I used the following Oxide colors:
Sky
Ground
To finish off my sky I added a little white splatter with watered-down acrylic paint from my stash and I added a few dots to the ground with Copic marker.
Final Assembly:
To finish off my scene, I removed all of my masks and Copic colored my images. I then stamped my favorite sentiment from the stamp set in black below my scene. For the final detail I added a detail to the card panel border using the Waffle Flower A2 Piercing Layers Dies. I then attached the panel to a white, A2-sized, folding card base and my cute card is complete!
