Hope and Inspiration Card
Sometimes life brings challenge and we need a little reminder that hope can guide us though tough times. Hope is theme for this card which features the gorgeous Craft-A-Flower: Japanese Anemone Layering Die Set.

To start, I die-cut my flower elements from white cardstock, with the exception of the flower centers, which I cut from gold glitter cardstock. Next, I used the Golden Sunset Fresh Die Ink collection to ink-blend all of my petals making sure the darkest colors were focused toward the center to show shadow and depth. For my leaves, I used the Forest Trail Fresh Dye Ink collection for a more muted green to contrast with the fiery petals.
Once all of my elements were colored, I assembled each flower using the layering guide, making sure to curl the petals with my pick-up tool first for added dimension. Next, it was time to go make my background.

I chose a sand-colored cardstock for my background panel to match with the Inspiration color palette. To add interest, I gold heat embossed a few leaves from the Build-A-Flower: Laelia Layering Stamp Set and also added some gold splatter using my Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set.
After I adhered all of the blooms onto my card, I stamped and die-cut my sentiment using the Craft-Your-Life Project Kit: Blossoms of Encouragement set. I then decided I needed one more element to finish everything off, a butterfly. Using my Craft-Your-Life Project Kit: Butterfly Garden set, I created one little butterfly using the greens from the Whispering Woodland Fresh Dye Ink collection.

Now it is your turn to make something wonderful. I can’t wait to see how you all use the Inspiration!
Have a great day!
